Quaker Friends Meeting - Pasadena, CA

My dear friend Camille once took me to Quaker friends meeting and it confirmed pretty much everything I already assumed about Quakers: that they’re God’s greatest chillers. Meeting was essentially just sitting in group meditation for a hour, and every so often someone who felt called to, would stand and speak a revelation or something they’d like the group to “hold in the light”. I loved that wording. There was no leader nor book of doctrine Just emphasis on silence and presence. It felt good...
