HOW TO SPEND ONE AFTERNOON ON THE EASTSIDE

[Atwater Village Afternoon]

1. Start with lunch at [Bar Sinizki] if you want a chic sit-down type of lunch. If you want something more casual but equally delicious, go to [Dune] next door.

2. Walk up the block and go to [RAD Furniture]. My brother-in-law's store. Very cool indoor/outdoor furniture and great books.

3. Walk to [Block Shop] and go nuts. Don't forget to peek upstairs at all the wallpaper and fabric.

4. *OPTIONAL* Go to Salazar for margs & see who's playing at Zebulon next door

[Highland Park Evening]: There are two many streets in HP and they're a 5m drive from each other (Figueroa & York).

Figueroa-

1. Casual tacos (no seating) [Villas Tacos] OR gorgeous elegant little wine bar, [Sam's Place] for dinner

2. Go to the [Gold Line] for fancy cocktails & records

York-

1. Dinner at Joy

2. Followed by drinks at Hermosillo bar
