This should be members-only but here I go!! The Inn at Kenmore Hall, discovered originally by my sister on her honeymoon, is the most perfectly appointed hotel in New England. If your Roman Empire is a candlelit breakfast of an herby omelette, piping hot coffee and the PAPER, then this inn is for you. We're talking ancient potted begonias, a crackling fire, stacks of World of Interiors, and a 4pm gin & tonic. The dashing, coy owner Ken reigned supreme as head of design at J.Crew in its heyday and he did NOT come to play with this 18th C Georgian manor renovation! This is gay retired country fantasy and I go once a year!
